Alabama-Huntsville 3, Niagara 2 (OT): While Denver, Wisconsin, etc. already have bids assured, Alabama-Huntsville became the first team to lock up an NCAA tournament bid with a win over Niagara. Keenan Desmet scored the game winner just 1:34 into OT to go into Charger lore. Cameron Talbot had 43 saves in the win. With Alabama-Huntsville not being in a conference next year, this could be their last ever NCAA Tourney appearance. If UAH makes the tourney and Michigan and Michigan State each watch from home, it will be quite the poetic justice for the CCHA.
