North Dakota 5, Michigan Tech 1: In the second to last regular season home game of his career, Darcy Zajac had 2 goals. The Fighting Sioux limited Tech to just 14 shots. They were so stingy defensively that on one Tech power play Evan Trupp outshot the entire Husky team 3 to 2.

Union 11, Clarkson 2: Holy crap. 11 goals. Mario Valery had 3 of them, and Kelly Zajac, related to North Dakota’s Darcy Zajac, had a goal and 2 assists. Interesting fact: Union and Clarkson each used 3 goalies.

North Dakota 3, Minnesota 3: Danny Kristo had 2 goals for the Sioux, but overall I’d have to say Minnesota outplayed their rivals.
